My Websites

    Schiffner.com

    Status: Actively Developed

Home sweet home. Schiffner.com has become my personal blog, home of my various programming projects, the primary location for my images, information on kayaking … Pretty much everything Chris Schiffner. After several years of trial and error I have reached a balance between personal and professional content and have created a very diverse, visually appealing, and easy to navigate website. Most recently I added e-commerce and have started selling software via instant downloads which required the development of a paypal IPN processor. Once I refine the administration back-end I plan to sell that software here. But enough about the site you’ve already found — I hope you’re enjoying your visit!

    No-Bling.com

    Status: Actively Deployed

I purchased a custom license plate for my 1979 Cutlass Supreme, “NO BLING”. Minutes later I purchase the domain no-bling.com. This domain has housed two primary websites, a gear-heads website with information on various make/model cars and performance calculators. Once the community lost interest I simply installed an image gallery that I develop, Panda Image Gallery. I plan to transition this domain to a website that contains information about my car and the modifications I have done to it.

    DrinkOrBeDrunk.com

    Status: In Development

This domain is a joint venture between myself and Cathy, and will eventually be a social networking site for beer drinkers. We plan to fill the void between the current beer review websites and the social networking scene while offering a few revolutionary features.

    CityScapeMedia.com

    Status: Parked, Awaiting Fate

CityScapeMedia.com is the first domain I purchased. It has gone through several iterations but none were necessarily ground breaking and none received my full attention. At one time it housed a website for a consulting business I was attempting to start while attending college at Rochester Institute of Technology but starting a business and attending school proved to be too much to balance. For a time this domain served as my portfolio as well as a home for my various programming projects — content which can now be found at schiffner.com. Until I determine another use for the domain it will remain parked collecting ad revenue from passersby.
