Panda Image Gallery 2.2.1 has been released. This new version includes several security fixes. Installations which have new user registration enabled should upgrade to version 2.2.1 immediately. Version 2.2.0 introduced a bug which displayed special characters in gallery titles and descriptions as html character codes. This has been corrected in 2.2.1. The page link engine has been refined so that a maximum of 17 pages are displayed, regardless of the total number of pages. The first and last pages will still be available at all times. This change allows the page links to occupy only a single line which increases the overall usability and visual appeal of large installations. New in this released is a dynamically generated xml sitemap. This sitemap is the format preferred by major search engines including Google and will help with indexing Panda Image Gallery installations.
