Best Buy’s website price doesnt match in-store price. Amazon gets the sale!

Tonight I went to Best Buy. I was going to purchase two items. One being a rather expensive item and one being an inexpensive item. The price on the inexpensive item was $4 more expensive than on bestbuy.com. When I asked for an explanation they told me the burden was on me to prove the price was cheaper on the website. Needless to say I was rather annoyed (I know its only $4, its the principle of the matter). I simply left the store and order the items from amazon when I got home. Yes Best Buy, you lost a couple of hundred dollars because you were unwilling to match your own price.
Amazon is truly a pleasure to deal with. I have made dozens of purchases, both large and small, and they have never given me trouble with returns or exchanges. Amazons return policy is among the best around and they are always helpful whether via phone or email. Retailers like Best Buy should take some notes. Its experiences like mine which have people shopping on the internet as opposed to local retailers.

This was really informative. I cant believe they treated you like that. Its unbelievable. You are there ready to spend money, and they bully you around like white trash.
We should buy them a one way ticket on the Nostaglia train to Spanish Harlem.
